The first one being that "All but one of the last 62 Pac-10 teams to finish with 11 conference wins advanced to the NCAA Tournament." Right now, the bruins are 9-7, so sweeping their final two home games will get them to that key 11-win total.

Also, the bruins actually received a top 25 vote in this week's AP poll. i'm not sure we're one of the 25 best teams in the country, but hey, we'll take it.
